Unlike a charity, association or commercial Yoga company - we are a Yoga social enterprise.

We first began supplying Yoga mats to teachers in 1999.

People

Co-founder/director, Satimã Witts is an arts graduate who trained as a Theravadin Buddhist nun in the Thai forest tradition. Sati is currently an associate teacher with the BWY accredited Inner Yoga Trust school and teaches part time. She currently offers workshops on Yoga and/or Buddhism, helping schools in Worcestershire and the West Midlands deliver the R.E. and P.H.S.E. aspects of the curriculum.

Co-founder/director, Mat Witts made a commitment to adopting a Buddhist way of life in 1990. He has worked as general manager at a Buddhist retreat centre and started one of most popular Yoga equipment web sites in the UK. He has internet design, programming and marketing skills and also holds financial qualifications.

• We run our administration systems on 100% renewable electricity from the natural, sustainable energy of wind, sun or running water
• We consider the raw materials we purchase and use - with a view to reducing the ecological impact as much as possible
• We import goods via ocean freight into the EU - to reduce the environmental impact of air fuel used for air freight shipments
• We minimise and re-use packaging as much as possible
• We choose, use and promote environmentally friendly materials wherever available
• We help to raise awareness of these issues so that both our suppliers and our customers can get involved
• We generally operate in an environmentally sensitive manner, and as best we know
