Remember: that unlike similar Yoga groups that normally require regular financial donations for support, we generate revenue from sales of ancilliary Yoga supplies - so all our membership packages are not regular fees.
This means that once you decide to join you can stay a member for life, (that is, until you sell your shares).
There is never any obligation to pay any more than an initial investment - or any further liability on your shareholdings once you join.
What could be simpler than that ?

seed capitalfinancing - or a starting salary with expenses, such as professional membership fees and attendance at training and events, (e.g. Yoga workshops etc.)
The minimum investment to qualify for membership is just £1. If you want to do that - just tape a £1 coin to a strong piece of card and send it in an envelope to us to the address given in the membership application (PDF file - 62Kb) form.
Note: The amount can be in cash, or cash equivalents - or for work undertaken - or in exchange for goods or assets, or a mixture of all of these !
If you wish to join in exchange for work undertaken, or for some other consideration - eg. in exchange for Yoga goods or other assets then please take a look at our Opportunities section and our current list of projects, to get more of an idea of what you might be looking to do, before you contact us.
The maximum amount we allow anyone to invest in cash, or cash equivalents is currently £3,000. This is to encourage a more diverse and dynamic membership - based on values other than just monetisation.
Further deposits, either within a particular membership package - or upgrades can be made in a number of different ways online, without any charge or fee. Upon allotment, all shares are issued fully paid up in respect of their nominal value and no share can be issued at a price greater than its nominal value.
What this means is that the market for them is buoyant and yet appropriately unappealing for the more commercial investors such as venture capitalists.
Shares in small, ethically oriented companies like YOGA NETWORK C.I.C. are not really suitable for trade on large, formal stock markets.
So, the ability for Members to sell their shares is quite restricted - unless they know of someone else who wishes to buy the shares from them. It is expected that trading in YOGA NETWORK C.I.C. shares will develop over time. Withdrawals
cannot be made, although we hope to establish a small facility, we call YogaExsm - where share transfers can be made more easily.
All Partnership members are rewarded through being automatically registered for this service. No separate application is needed unless your subscription is remains below one of the three current types of Partner types of membership.
