General - summary

• We take very seriously our responsibilities to protect personal information, and we ensure that the information we hold is safe, and only used in accordance with the permissions that we have been given.
• We do not take part in any mass marketing Email campaigns, (Spamming)

Why we need to collect personal data

We need information to fulfill orders and deliver goods and services. We also need to store information to provide after sales service and resolve customer queries.

To keep data more secure and to minimise the risk of unauthorised access, we use passwords to authenticate against our database records when using many features on our Web sites.

We also collect statistics to help us monitor the performance of our web sites and understand how our web sites are being used. No personally identifiable informationis used for these particular purposes.

We collect information in three main ways:-

• Directly - sometimes we'll collect information directly, for example from forms on our web sites or from emails sent to us.

• From third parties - we also get information from third parties like banks, for example as part of authorisation for a payment made using a credit or debit card online.

• From our Web sites - we also collect infomation about how are web sites are being used, for example by using Session Cookies. Session Cookies are tiny files that may be left on your computer that we use to make the content our Web sites easier to use. They expire, and become obsolete whenever a visitor leaves our Web sites.
• No personally identifiable information is held in the Cookies we use. Put simply, they do NOT contain personal infomation that can be cross-referenced to any particular individual.

Who uses it?

As well as us (YOGA NETWORK C.I.C.), occasionally we will also need to share some information with our suppliers. We may do this, for example:-

• to provide you with a product or service in conjunction with someone else, for example a Yoga holiday company
• to provide you with information that you have asked for, about a special promotion or offer that may be for a limited period

Otherwise, we will only share information in exceptional circumstances for example, as part of any investigation in relation to activities such as suspected credit card fraud.

If you use our Web sites, you can normally modify and delete data from our Web site's databases by using the facilities online or, or failing that - just by contacting us.

Opting out

We always seek permission to collect information when you use our Web sites. Permissions can be changed easily either by following instructions online or by contacting us. Please note: if you choose to opt out, this will only apply to the information stored about you on our databases. If you have provided information to us which has since been forwarded on to deliver individual products or services from another company (eg. videos or tuition), then these are normally independent of our opt out procedures and cannot be changed through our Web sites. In that case you will have to contact the individual or organisation concerned to change your preferences.

Keeping your information secure

Practical measures have been taken to protect against loss, destruction, damage, unauthorised accesss, or unlawful processing of data.

We know of the many risks associated specifically with online trading and we are vigillant in our efforts in terms of physical security, including authentication, encryption, data backups, detection, investigation and reporting of any suspicious activity.

Here some of the ways we protect information:-

• Systems are password protected and professionally administered
• We only allow ourselves and trusted service providers access to our systems, and then only if they need it for a specific authorised task. The computers on which we store information are kept secure by a number of different measures, by a professional hosting company.
• We do not store payment card details on our Web sites.

We take all reasonable precautions to protect your information, but data can never be guaranteed 100% secure. If our systems are compromised in some way, before data is removed then data may be revealed but thankfully, such an event is generally considered highly unlikely.

Please note that we will not be held liable for any breach of security unless we have been proved negligent.
